Women’s hesitation to venture out alone can limit their access to the restorative power of nature. Learning some physical, mental and emotional self-defense can help address some of those worries and fears.
The class will cover an assortment of self-defense physical techniques for a variety of situations, such as grabs, shoves, holds, and what happens if the situation ends up on the ground. Along with the physical techniques we will discuss verbal and emotional/mental self-defense concepts. We'll cover a few self-defense myths and offer alternative solutions.
We look to empower women with the knowledge and skills to put the emotional response in its place and be able to respond to the situation at hand. The blend of verbal, mental and physical self-defense techniques will definitely boost self-confidence.
